These items weren't just sculpted and painted. They were "flocked" also. This was done by applying adhesive and blowing colored "fuzz" through a gun similar to an auto paint gun.

These items were motorized too. In this pic, Poohs arm moves back and forth. Piglet who was created for another window scene rocks back and forth, playing the rolled paper.

Poohs arm really isn't connected in this piece. Tigger and Piglet are rocking on a little platform pulling Pooh.
